I work with children and adults of all levels, including music theory, proper technique and ear-training in each lesson. I have over 17 years of experience as a performer and educator. I also have extensive experience teaching young children with Dyslexia, ADD, and on varying degrees of ASD spectrum.
Active member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and the National Association for Music Education. I also offer Royal Conservatory of Music Exam preparation for both Theory and Practical Exams.
I offer both group and private lessons, as well as chamber music coaching and audition preparation for orchestra and RCM and ABRSM examinations.
I also have various sizes of violins available for use during the first lessons for no additional charge. I'm happy to help with instrument purchases once we know if your child expresses interest in playing.
Discounted private and group rates available for home-schooled children and siblings.
I teach beginners through advanced students of all ages, customizing the curriculum to fit each student's learning style, whether they excel in auditory, visual or kinesthetic processing.
For adult beginners, aural skills are emphasized while developing technique separately from learning to read music fluently. This accelerates the progress which is important for adult students who are often lacking hours for weekly practice due to other responsibilities. It is never too late to start!
