Classes and Packages

Lessons are offered in the teacher's home in West LA or in your home. Weekly lesson times are reserved exclusively for your child and include:

Small group class opportunities
Recitals
Written progress reports

Four 30 minute lessons per month

200 studio/260 in-home

Four 45 minute lessons per month

300 studio/380 in-home

Four 60 minute lessons per month

400 studio/520 in-home

At this time, my studio is at full capacity so I am unable to offer free trial sessions.

If you are interested in lessons, please contact me and I will be happy to either try to coordinate a time or place your name on a waiting list.

The set monthly fee, paid in advance at the beginning of the month, reserves your lesson time every week regardless of attendance, as it isn't possible to fill the time without notice for either families or teachers.

In the event of student or teacher illness, I also offer lessons over Zoom using two cameras, with one positioned directly above the piano keys.

I believe in the importance of clear communication between the teacher, students and parents. At the end of each lesson, I often record short video clips to demonstrate what to focus on during the week while practicing.

All classes include:

Learning to read music, sight reading and technical mastery of the instrument
Developing proper technique for instruments and voice
Achieving short and long-term goals through studio-held recital opportunities, as well as international examinations such as those through the Royal Conservatory of Music
Ear training, chords, harmonization, learning to sing and play in tune

Piano and Music Theory

Piano students will learn proper technique to maximize dexterity of fingers while minimizing the risk of injury to the delicate muscles in the wrists and fingers.

You will also learn chord inversions and structures which are crucial for improvisation and composition.

Violin and Viola

Suzuki based approach with an emphasis on musical games, listening, repetition to allow students to master concepts with confidence and enthusiasm.

Orchestral auditions and chamber ensembles are welcome for group coaching lessons.

Exploratory Class

Designed for children as young as 3, whose families are committed to music education but who have not yet chosen a primary instrument.
